Albendazole
Mature and immature roundworm, lungworms, tapeworm and fluke infestation in cattle, sheep and goat. It also reduces the output of viable worm and fluke eggs.Contraindications: Administration to ewes and cattle during pregnancy (in the 1st trimester), Use in lactating animals whose milk is to be used for human consumption, Do not use during the acute immature phases of Fasciola, Avoid treatment in Sheep and Goats with dicrocoeliasis during mating-season and during the first three months of gestation.
Dosage:
For roundworms and lungworms: Cattle: 1ml per 13Kg b.w. P.O. Camels & Horses: (7.5mg Albendazole per kg b.w). Sheep & Goat: 1ml per 20Kg b.w. P.O, (5mg Albendazole per kg b.w. P.O), for liver flukes, roundworms, and lungworms: Cattle 1ml per 10Kg b.w. P.O., Camels, Horses: (10mg Albendazole per kg b.w.), Sheep, Goat: 1ml per 13Kg b.w.P.O., (7.5mg Albendazole per kg b.w.).Withdrawal: Milk: 3 days. Meat: 10 days.
